Ricco Baron grew up living and breathing art. As the youngest of four, he was surrounded by art and creativity. His mother, an avid painter and pottery sculptor, helped to inspire and shape his eye for art in every sense. His father, a musician, spent countless hours playing the organ and encouraging him to explore ancient knowledge and gain deeper insights into music, vibration, and frequency.
While still in high school, Ricco turned to the visual arts including painting and sculpting as well as jewelry making and manufacturing. After graduating from college, Ricco founded Ve Associates, where he served as the creative director for over 20 years, providing graphic design insight and direction for international companies including Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Baxter Edwards, Mazda, and more.
While primarily self-taught, Ricco has studied extensively with various artists including the critically acclaimed Salamon Brothers.
He currently enjoys a successful career as a musician and visual artist in Nevada City California.
The Sacred Valley Series
Majestic Peru, the sacred valley, and Machu Picchu have inspired artists from around the world.

In 2015 Ricco had the opportunity to not only hike extensively and explore the ancient Aztec and pre-Aztec sites of the Sacred Valley of Peru but to also spend time with some of the indigenous people there. He was able to take part in ancient rituals that provided a depth of insight into what he refers to as the ‘energy signature’ of a place. He came back so inspired that he began this body of work that continues to evolve and grow today.
Ricco Baron’s work has been exhibited in various locations throughout the United States. He is represented by several galleries, including the Ellu Gallery in Grass Valley, California. After a very enthusiastic reception at the Rock Gallery in Lake Tahoe, California, the ‘Sacred Valley Series’ is now on exhibit at Elixart in the artist’s hometown of Nevada City, California.
